Toasted Lawn - How to address?

Utah, Salt Lake Area
Grass is ~2 years old at this point.

Spent some time away from home for about 10 days leading up to Memorial Day - historically we’ve had enough rain in May to keep my lawn happy though that I turn sprinklers the last weekend of the month.

Well with me being out of town I did not see how warm it was getting and came home to this. I now have sprinklers running nightly but worry it’s too late.

How would you all address/fix this? Do I need to pull everything out and resod? Should I dethatch, lay down some seed, a top layer of soil and water heavily? Looking for some guidance. Appreciate your help pros!
