Guess the spreader! New house, new yard. 6b Guess which spreader got put out for trash this week? Served me well for 5 years at my old house, but the RB60 comes tomorrow. Grass Totally neglected for 24 years. Impatient me tried to load up the ol Scott’s mini and put down some left overs from last year. Bad idea. Got a bit of a late start this year as we were focused on all the flowerbeds and landscaping this spring but So far soil test complete, we’re deficient in pretty much every aspect. First round of amendments and new spreader comes tomorrow. Been spot treating weeds with Triad, and mowing high. Not expecting perfection this year, trying to get the soil right and the weeds out as my main goals. I’ll have it aerated in the fall and overseed. Also have some fellow lawn nerd neighbors to keep me motivated! Learned a lot in the past few years here and enjoyed doing my last lawn, this one’s about quadruple the size though!
