Soil/weed removL prep before laying sod advice Hi all, Recently moved in to a new construction home and now ready to tackle this graded soil and lay some sod. I have removed most of the "bigger" weeds and currently have this to work with. Should I just rake them or would i need to pull these so they dont grow over the sod? Also i was advised by the builders that I require to lay about 4inches of soil on top prior to sod. Any other prep I should do prior to dumping the soil and laying the sod? Also side question: I am planning on laying the sod this weekend and it will be around 27 degrees C here in Winnipeg, Canada. Any advice on laying sod in this type of heat? I was told to water ++++.
