Raccoons & New Sod Are raccoons doing this? We laid new sod in early April and have been very diligent about watering and it’s felt rooted to me, but then the other day we woke up to our lawn looking like this. We folded it down (second time this has happened since April) and it’s disheartening that the sod isn’t rooted enough to prevent critters from doing this.
