Weird Grass Coloring – Light & Dark Green Patches, Lines & Spots – Any Advice? Ontario Hey everyone, I'm having some strange issues with my lawn this summer. There are two different shades of green showing up — some areas are a nice dark green while others are noticeably lighter. It's not uniform at all. What’s weird is that there are both lines (almost like mowing stripes but not clean) and random round or blotchy spots throughout. Some parts of the lawn look great, others just look sickly or underfed. A few things to note: I’m in Ontario Lawn gets regular mowing I haven’t applied any fertilizer or weed killer yet this season It’s been a mix of hot sunny days and a fair bit of rain No known pests that I’ve noticed Could this be an issue with uneven watering, compacted soil, a nutrient imbalance, or something else?
