What is this growing in my fescue and how do I kill it?
Northern CO (5b) Will roundup take care of this or do I need something more specialized?

Is this sod going to make it?
Was laid down by a company about a week ago - other areas they put down look fine. This area is looking really brown. Is this dead or will it come back?

First Mow - New Sod (KBG in Alberta, Canada)
I've laid fresh KBG sod, and stayed off it it for the required two weeks. It's well rooted now and looking great, the problem is that it rained (heavily) daily from day 12 to day 17 (today). The weather forecast shows evening showers every day this week. The grass is quit long in spots (6-8"), I'm concerned it will ge too tall if I wait another week + to give it 48 hours for to dry out before mowing.
What's worse - giving it the first cut when still a little damp, or waiting too long (3.5 weeks) for the first cut? How would you play this?

What the hell happened?
Had a nice green lawn to start the season. We’ve been getting a fair amount of rain so no need to water. And yet today it looks like this. What happened? Needs more fertilizer? Doesn’t look like fungus because it’s not patchy but I’m no expert. Would appreciate any thoughts on this. This is in Southern NH.

Can’t get grass to grow
Tried shaded lawn seed
Water twice a day
Pierced holes in ground
Used top soil
London
What else can I try? Maybe the seed was kinda cheap
Would mixing sand, top soil and mix work like they do on golf courses?

Is this dangerous for kids
Hi everyone,
I recently had a new lawn installed (roll-out turf, about 500m², in London, UK), and I just noticed some small mushrooms popping up in a few spots.
They’re pale beige, quite small, with a slight depression in the center of the cap. They seem to grow in small clusters. I’ve attached a close-up photo to help identify them.
Do you have any idea what species this might be?
Are they dangerous to kids?
And more importantly should I be concerned for the health of my lawn, or just remove them and let nature do its thing?
Any help or insight would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance

Is that forest moss? QC/CA
I'm doing a bit of lawnscaping and remove some of these that looks like forest moss. Wondering if it really is and so, can I replant it?

Anyone knows what is destroying my backyard?
Just a few weeks ago my St Augustine grass looked amazing on my backyard. It’s since rapidly deteriorated. There seems to be holes all over the backyard that feel soft when I step on them. I want to fix this and get my yard back to how it was but don’t even know where to start. For reference I’m in Florida.

Newbie Question… There’s a blade and string after?
I bought this edger and realized today it has a blade. I didn’t know they existed. So I tried it today and liked it… but I’ve seen people hold the string edger horizontally over small patches of grass to mow them. It looks like I’m unable to do that effectively with the blade edger?
Is it just for mowing vertical lines?
What are the pros and cons of each. Should I return and get a string one?
