• How do I make my purple shamrock not be so leggy?

Hello! I grew these guys from bulbs (corms?) In March. I didn't expect much because I've never been good at growing plants, but I think they're doing well. I've looked online for ways to make them more bushy, and I see a lot of "just pinch it" but I'm not sure if did it right because the stem I pinched just broke lol. How can I make it less leggy? How exactly am I supposed to pinch it without breaking the stem? Thanks!

  • Zone 10a - Need Help

Can someone help me redesign my landscaping plan please! Locates in zone 10a. Planted Clusia a few years ago because we thought it was a good idea (hahah). It’s an L shaped layout approx 4’x15’ at each leg.

  • This looks pretty but it’s giving me a weird vibe. What is this and do I need gloves to remove it?

  • Is this the end?

My purple passion has been growing like crazy this year and will start flowering. It’s coming up to about a year since I bought it in a much smaller form at my local nursery. From what I understand, it’s reached its maturity and will decline when it blooms - just wondering if I nip these buds now, will this prolong its life?

  • How do I keep these peonies from snapping under their own weight?

The ones on the right have been bound and tied to a stake. They don’t look great that way, but it seems to help. Is there a better way to fix this issue?

  • Cut down a tree and now I’m not sure what to do here

Cut down a pretty large gumball tree here a couple years ago and now I’m left with a pretty large space. Ideally would like to have something that takes up space that’s minimal maintenance. Any ideas?
