• Calathea Musaica

Calatheas aren’t known for being the most beginner-friendly plants, and I understand why, but I also rarely see this one mentioned or complained about…perhaps it’s a “No news is good news” situation, because THIS Calathea is as low-maintenance and vigorous as they come, not to mention it has such a unique leaf pattern. If you’re feeling discouraged about Calatheas, give the Musaica a try.

  • Monstera why?

Why is my monstera only producing leafs with holes on one side? The past 3 leaves have been like this. The other one are normal. Watering like normal and good drainage. Gets a lot of indirect light

  • Need help/advice!

Does anyone use buried drip tape that can give me advice on how to fix this mess I stupidly created? I hit the drip tape in multiple spots 🤦🏻‍♂️ it’s about 25 ft I’d need to fix. Should I dig up the tape in that section and mend it at the end of the tomatillo planting? I really don’t want to replace the entire bed if I don’t have to. I’m thinking I can carefully rerun the tape and still salvage the plastic mulch. Any advice appreciated

  • Hanging basket fuchsias. Does it look okay?

They don’t seem to be doing the best and the leaves have gotten more speckled it seems. It is producing berries. I check it almost everyday and feel when it’s dry then water it. Does it look okay or am I doing something wrong? It’s mostly in the shade with some sun from the west.

  • What's this yellow thing wrapping itself around my arugula?

The arugula is in a pot on my balcony. The balcony is normally pretty sunny almost all day (at least 5 hours of direct sun) but it's been raining a lot in the last few days. When it doesn't rain I water it everyday. The pot has drainage. Pretty sure this yellow stuff wasn't there a few days ago

  • Peperomia marble has red streaked stems

I got this peperomia marble today and I noticed it has these red streaks on the stems. Is that normal or do I need to treat for a pest? It’s indoors in a south facing window and I just watered it today.
