93F to 39F cold shap We've been consistently getting temperatures of 80F and 90F for the past few weeks and my garden is doing well aside from some heat stress. Now this weekend it's expected to suddenly plummet to a low of 39F Saturday and Sunday night. I have peppers, tomatoes, pumpkins, and cucumbers I'm worried about. Do I need to cover these or will the warm weather leading up to that (80s/90s again through this week) keep the soil warm enough to prevent damage? Almost gave up on these - any tips? I bought a burros tail and had it on a shelf a few months ago, two days later it fell off and the plant barely made it. I decided to try and prop some small pieces that fell off. After many months, they have finally started to show progress, so I just sprayed them today but have otherwise left them neglected!
