    Coffee Plant Troubles

I’ve had these coffee trees for two years, and I just repotted them for the first time. I used a mixture of potting mix, vermiculite, coffee grounds, and compost.

One seems to be doing better than the other even though I couldn’t tell you if it had been treated any different.

I’m getting a lot of brown edges, would that be from too much light or too much water?

How do I get rid of this baby forest and stop/slow it from coming back?

Why are my peppers getting these hard cracks in them?

A bunch of my Jalepeno peppers from this specific plant are getting these woody grooves in them.

What do I need to do to help future peppers not grow like this?

    Is this one edible?

Looking for opinions on my tree

We moved into this home over a year ago and love the landscaping around the home. The lone issue I have is this tree which leaves an absolute mess year round. According to PictureThis, it’s an Apple tree. I’m not a plant person so I’m unsure.

But anytime it rains or gets windy, leaves and other bits fall off and die right on the patio in clumps. Also falls directly into the mulch which you can see. It makes it virtually impossible to keep furniture in huge areas of our patio also.

Any recommendations or thoughts? Would trimming help in any way? I have no idea what I’m doing here and don’t want to cut this tree down but I’d also like to be able to use our patio and not have to spend an hour cleaning it every three days even in the summer. It’s a conundrum.

Am I Asking For Trouble with Edging?

    Hi all,

Very possible I’m overthinking this but have dealt with water issues around the house (not this area) and want to be extra cautious.

Had landscaper today come to remove our old bushes. Plan is to put gravel against foundation and mulch on the other side of edging. Beds have proper slope (minus corner by patio that I need to fill with dirt) but I am thinking worst case scenario where we get crazy driving rains that edging might act as a dam of sorts for surface water and lead to water pooling up. Am I being realistic or crazy?

    Is this really a jasmine?

I recently bought this plant as a baby with no flowers and it was labeled “jasmine”. I look it up online and look at a few different kinds, and none of the flowers look like this. (These are freshly bloomed so that may have some sort of effect). Can someone direct me to the specific kind of jasmine this is, if it is one at all?
