  • Found it while weeding our flower. Baby Black Walnut?

My wife left it in a pot with some garden soil. Wondering if it is in order to find the best location to plant it permanently.

  • Question about my green beans

All my green beans have these yellow/white splotches on them. I thought maybe it was wind damage since I'm in the Chicago area and we get a lot of wind but now I'm not so sure. Any ideas?

  • How to get rid of mold

Just wanted to know if there is a safe way to get rid of the mold for aesthetic purposes. Just don’t want it to keep spreading

  • Asiatic jasmine won't grow in this 12' section

Hi all, I'm actually posting my neighbor's landscaping because he doesn't use reddit. However, he's been struggling with this issue for years. Things don't grow in that little section there on the curve. Those jasmine are a year old and all the rest have filled in. A the time they were planted, he had a full foot+ of soil removed, hauled and replaced thinking that something toxic was in there. Nope. It was just like this before that and it continues even with fresh soil.

You can see the segment past the crossing is perfect, as is the rest of it to the right of the photo. Asiatic jasmine is all over the place down here and it generally thrives.

Thoughts on what the issue might be or how to diagnose?

  • Suggestions for trailing plants safe to have above bed?

I want to add some plants to the shelf above my bed that will trail down a little. Since it’s above the bed I don’t want things like pothole that occasionally drip! It’s a west ish (a bit north?) facing window, this picture taken at noon.
