• Efflorescence Stain on Pavers — Is This Permanent?

I recently hired a contractor to power wash, sand, and seal my pavers. They assumed the pavers had never been sealed before, and every time they power washed, efflorescence kept showing up again.

They treated it with a solution — I think it was a diluted vinegar and baking soda mix (not 100% sure). But now, the pavers look permanently stained. The photo was taken after it rained, and even after applying more solution, the issue hasn’t improved.

I’m starting to worry the pavers might be damaged or permanently stained. Would another round of power washing help? Or is this something more serious? Any advice would be really appreciated!

  • My Hobbit Jade spawned its own Gollum

It’s attached to its own branch, a total mutant. I’m going to try and get it in its own pot soon, or should I leave it attached to its big brother?

  • My bird of paradise is dying… Help needed

So one month ago I bought a wonderful Bird of Paradise plant that was in great condition albeit growing more horizontally than vertically, making it take up a lot of space. Now under my care I see it is doing really badly - leaves are tearing or rolling up. I am watering it with about a liter of water once a week and have it facing the southeast side with plenty of light. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be highly appreciated!!

  • Idk what plant this is, but it looks kinda sad? Help

So I was gifted this plant recently. When I got it, all leaves were fully green and the „bloom“ was radiant purple. Now it looks like it’s almost out of bloom and the leaves tend to turn red at the end. I don’t know what plant this is, so idk if it’s normal, I don care for it properly, or it is just time to cut it down. It doesn’t look like typical sun damage to me? I just don’t know what to do with this one, it looks so sad…

It usually sits out on my balcony, but whenever the sun gets too intense, I take it inside. I usually water it whenever the top soil is dry, as I do with most of my plants.

  • Pothos growing out of my Aquarium

Also some lucky bamboo, but I trimmed them recently. I love when the sun from an overhead window hits the leaves and the tank.
