  • What is this plant? Its got a unique leaf

Was weeding my property when I noticed this plant. It doesn't look like it's a part of the surrounding plant, but it had a blue thorny stem and leaves that are pure white on the bottom. I left it, but have never seen such a leaf before.

  • How much gravel do I need?

I can’t figure out the math for volume/lb of gravel I will need for this gravel path. Key is a French drain (pink lines) that is 16” deep and wide, and 3 water “collectors” of gravel that are 22” deep. On top of that will be about 4” of gravel. The water channel then follows the slope of the lawn for about 8’ where it should run off into a 4’x4’ bed of gravel to finish the journey.

How much gravel will I need to get the surface to grade?

  • Update: Big shaggy portulacaria I inherited (posted yesterday) turned out to be a cluster of many plants (no surprise). This guy had the most potential to style.

Biggest decision I’ve got is whether to keep the two upper trunks or lop one of them off. I’m leaning toward taking the front/right one out even though it will put yet another scar on the front.

  • What is this succulent?

    Hi all,

My mom has this succulent and wondering what it is and how to care for it? We chopped off a few of the longer pieces to propagate. Thanks!
