  • Mystery plant in community garden

My friend sent me this picture of a mystery plant growing in their community garden in Maryland. He says it’s over 10 feet tall and people claim it’s a sunflower. Is this really a sunflower?

  • What is this plant she is holding?

Can anyone tell me what this plant is that she is holding and is also growing over her right shoulder? For context this is Celia Thaxter, she had an island garden on the Isles of Shoals off the coast of New Hampshire in the 1850s.

  • Hour long soaking complete.

It looks so pretty after a soaking. Should I be doing it more than once a week?

  • Sad looking dieffenbachia

I love my dieffenbachia, it had mealybugs growing on but I’ve been lovingly wiping them off using neem oil on tissue - and it seemed to have been working.

I’ve lately noticed that its leaves have been curling downwards. No changes to watering/sun exposure. What could this be? Should I move it to a bigger pot?
