    Beets - when to pick

Hi!! This is my first time growing a beet plant in our raised garden & I’m wondering your advice on when to pick! According to google, I could probably pick this guy now, but I’m looking to the Reddit experts!! I’m not sure of size or if color matters, etc. Thanks!

    (Tag is for size comparison)

    Big orphan jade cutting found

Someone told me 2 days ago there was a cutting right outside my house, I usually work from home and don’t leave unless I need to (yeah, kind of a city hermit) so I hadn’t seen it until today. Planning to get a good looking pot for it.
I guess I just felt like sharing, and if anybody has tips, or can see something I’m missing in this photo, I welcome any comment.

How should I prune this jade?

It's a super strong grower and has a very thick base but it's really top heavy. It's basically horizontal right now. Can I repot it to be straight up? Should I remove some at the top and along the sides?

    5b hardy begonia?

I've found this plant tucked away in various gardens in upstate NY (zone5ish). I'd like to add a few to my garden, but can't get an ID, and haven't found it at local nursery or online. Is it a hardy begonia variety?

    Any identification tips appreciated!

Apple looking fruits on thorned stem/branch

I noticed this after cutting the grass tonight with my dad and it's growing from a little flower bed we have in the front garden of a rental house we've lived in for nearly 3 years now, never seen these before. According to Google Gemini it's "Flowering Quince" is this correct? Are they edible fruits, if so; what are they like?

    Yellow mushrooms, okay or no?

Bioactive setup, I’m pretty sure it’s planters fungus. Do I need to change his dirt asap or is this a good thing?(ignore the salamander he’s greedy for attention)

    Burro’s Tail?

Since acquiring my first succulent (09/2024), I’ve learned that there can be hundreds of different types within one genus. So, unless something is blatantly obvious, I’m never 100% sure what something is. I picked up this guy a few weeks ago and I think he’s a Burro’s Tail. But the photos of Burro’s Tails I typically see show more round, plump leaves. Is this just another type? Is it how they start out? Or is he lacking something I need to provide? I just want to make sure that I’m caring for it correctly. Also if anyone has any tips for caring for one, I’m always open to hearing suggestions and advice to help grown my knowledge base. Thanks in advance!! (Note, the nursery pot has lots of drainage and the soil mix includes succulent soil, pumice, tiny lava rocks and a bit of Rosy Soil for succulents that I had left over)
