• My New Entry Level Bonsai- Very Excited

Clicking around Facebook marketplace I came across a retired couple about 20 minutes from me that retail Bonsai from their home. Huge selection and great pricing.

I’ve unsuccessfully have had Bonsai trees in the past. Even as a child I had one. My Dad when we moved into our home got us one as a house warming gift. Now that my Dad is gone I wish I still had it.

So I’m on a mission to do it right this time. I’ve done my research and now that I have this local resource I’m feeling fairly confident. Hoping to have a nice collection on my deck one day.

  • I’d like to know the name of these beautiful flowers

In the process of getting a new house and I’m trying to find some cool plants to have big or small, if you have any suggestions that would be awesome! Thank you have a nice day.

  • Choice paralysis on what to do here

9b. There's a long strip along the side of the house that I want to make look nicer. I feel bad that Ive left it looking like this. I only just finished weeding it (so many grasses) and left a volunteer poppy plant. I'm thinking of getting stepping stones down the middle or left side. Also think I will have to remove a lot of the soil so it isn't touching the bottom of the fence? My husband likes to feed one of the neighborhood cats on the fence in front of the window so he needs to be able to walk down without getting attacked by plants. I'm considering planting vegetables but the area doesn't get much sun but also considering a bunch of native plants that I can feed my tortoise. I'm also worried about watering plants against the house... Not sure if that will cause any damage. Any opinions/advice would be appreciated.

  • Monstera is dying

I had this monstera for about a year. I have 4 other monstera doing well, all from this same monstera.

After struggleling trying to keep it green I decided to put it in water. A few days later all leaves are yellow.

Hpw do i say it? Can I cut all the leaves and put it back in soil?
