• Is this garlic ready?

I’m zone 6b in Massachusetts 25 mins north of Boston. Planted in late September. If I remember correctly it is German Extra Hardy. Is it ready to pull? I pulled one to see and I think it is, but not 100% sure if they’ll get a little bigger if I leave them another week.

Also, I’m an experienced gardener but this is my first time growing garlic.. I’ve got a shed that stays dry and hot, how long should I hang my garlic in there to cure it?

  • I banished this dying ugly plant to the garage 3 weeks ago. Please explain why it's thriving without light or water in my hot AF garage??

And it's definitely not because I was overwatering it or something while in my house. Im a first time parent to a newly 1-year-old. I promise you this plant was neglected inside too

  • Neighbor called them squash but they smell like cucumbers.

Neighbor gave us "vegetables" from her friend's garden and called them squash. She also gave us a "sweet pepper plant" which I'm sure is actually basil. The cut one smells like a cucumber but I've never seen yellow cucumbers.
