Rescued Japanese Maple This fellow was left by the previous owner at my house in a barrel that was decaying. The roots had grown deep through holes in the deck and it took about 12 hours for me to dig them out and repot in this temporary planter. That was a few months ago now and I’m so relieved they survived! Not sure what direction to go with styling, so current plan is to keep them as healthy as possible and see if theres a way I can encourage the trunk to thicken up. Have never attempted anything this large before and it’s an interesting shape to start with 😅 Really excited to try and make a pot for them.
