Finallllly! a bloom! Last year we moved to a new-to-us house and I was super excited to build up the long neglected gardens. I bought a hibiscus thinking it would be a great addition. Well, I must have bought the world’s dramatic hibiscus bc nothing made her happy. It only took about 4 months to go from potential to pathetic. She soon became “sticks in a pot.” I overwintered her in the garage bc I am a glutton for punishment. Brought her outside and expressed my disappointment to her as a plant mom every day for weeks. “I’m not mad. Just disappointed…” Then… she began to sprout leaves. And today? I came out to the garden to see **THIS**! She has earned my love once more. I’m sorry my dear for not believing in you.
