Petunias fading in color My petunias in the hanging basket used to be a deep, vibrant purple like the ones on the left, but have faded. I had been fertilizing with miracle grow from time to time and trying not to overwater. It has been pretty rainy and just started getting hot. The plant gets about 6-8 hours of sunlight a day.
