Why is the soil in my cumquat plant soggy when I water it? The last 3x I’ve been watering my cumquat plant the soil has been soggy and like wet cement. It hasn’t been absorbing well and only stays in the top layers. The plant is situated next to the window and it gets plenty of sunlight. I also water it about 1x a week, sometimes 2x.
