Japanese black pine seedling in net pot with organic peat moss and perlite So this thing has exploded this summer with needles everywhere and I’ve watched countless Japanese black pine tutorials which is why I put it in a net pot to speed growth… anyways, I’ve posted this tree before and the advice I got was to take care of the lower branches because in the future they would probably become the main part of the tree. It was purchased from a local nursery that has an active bonsai artist. So he works on the bonsai department and gives training as well. It’s too far away for me to start that regiment.
