Crassula capitella. Is it too hot? Or root rot?
Hello!
I thought this was going to be a decently easy succulent for my area, and I am fairly used to some of the related succulents to pagoda village, but what went wrong here?
Is it too much heat? The leaves seem much smaller and less plump than the original state. Soil is also very dry.
I also thought it might be root rot because of the base plant having all the brown areas, but it’s getting proper (neglect) watering at once per week. And soil quickly drains as well.
It also seems to be missing a few strands/growths from the previous photo. Hoping a neighborhood cat didn’t get curious.
Watering: once a week, full soak
Sunlight: full sun, no shade. 85°-95°F (a couple 100°+ days)
Soil: 70/30 organic/inorganic
Thank you for any advice/help. I’m assuming this is slightly salvageable by trimming off the still living growths, but any advice is welcome.
