Lavender Plant

Leaves are curled up and crispy. It was thriving and then it was not.

Soil: just added perlite to the soil today, it was growing and thriving in generic potting soil before.

Light: it's under a grow light (hence the purple hue to it). We are looking to upgrade our grow light as our natural lighting is terrible.

Water: watering it when the soil is dry. We aren't sure how often you're supposed to water these things... We are treating the watering like a succulent and not watering it too often, waiting for the soil to dry, and adding rocks and stuff to the soil to help it drain to prevent root rot.

Pot: plastic from the dollar store. Pot claims its self watering but we are emptying the water catcher from water because we don't trust it. It has drainage holes on the bottom. We don't let it sit in it's water for too long. The holes are draining well.

Temperature: kept indoors at 15°-20° C. Thermostat says 15 but it's been reaching 20 recently. It's away from any drafts/baseboard heaters. We aren't putting it outside because we are 10 floors up in a balcony that has worse lighting than our crappy grow light. Might put it outside when it's bigger.

Food: I think we fertilized it once with generic fertilizer. We don't usually fertilize our plants.

If anyone has grown these things please guide us. We just replaced the soil so hopefully it's just that. Please tell us your watering schedule too. I'm not used to watering plants .
