can i bake with these berries i found in my yard?

Some of these tiny blackberries started dropping from a tree in my backyard a few days ago so i set a recycling bin out to see if i could collect some. I know nothing about gardening or cooking with berries that i haven't bought from the store. the tree isn't sprayed with anything to keep the bugs off. i managed to collect this much from the bin after a couple days and i got some that landed on one of my wicker chairs. there was rain during that time so i had to strain the berries out. after rinsing them , there was still so many of these tiny orangish bugs/worms crawling around on them. i put them in salt water and set that in the freezer for 30 minutes, then rinsed them with a tiny bit of dawn, then continued rinsing for maybe 5 minutes. i don't see any crawling around now. is it safe for me to make a cobbler with them? also should i pick off those tiny branch things?
