Peperomia soil hydrophobic? I think I let my peperomia get too dry, or the soil has become hydrophobic. When I put it in a deep dish of water to bottom water it does not take up any of the water. When I top water it just goes right through or rolls off the top. The leaves are also turning yellowish. What should I do to help it? It is in a southern facing window all the time and I water it when it’s dry but admittedly I have forgotten about it recently.
