$13k to regrade and resod. Too much for 2000 sqft? Houston, TX So my backyard retains a ton of water during rain and hurricanes. Probably due to the poor grading given to me by the builder when I bought the house 3 years ago. It’s been a mess and I get weeds all the time. It’s always moist for days after raining and it’s super bumpy. The water pools next to my foundation near where the picture is taken from. I’m currently getting quotes and the first one being from a reputable company is $13000 to regrade and resod the backyard and add gravel paths to the sides of the house as well as clean up my storm drain ditch since the rain has eroded it. Does this seem fair or too high? I’m just now getting quotes and will look to get 3 or 4 estimates but wasn’t sure if this is normal ballpark. Thanks!
