Birds of Paradise? (saved from spider mites once) I bought this birds of paradise from a reputable plant shop, and it arrived quite healthy. It got a bad spider mite infestation that was visible, and I sprayed and cleaned the leaves daily for almost 2 weeks until I seemed to have gotten them all. The leaves are continuing to turn brown like this, but I can't see any visible mites. The plant has always been indoors, it is next to a large window with a lot of such each day. I tried watering once every two weeks, I increased to 1x per week, decreased again to roughly once every 10 days. The top few inches of soil are dry before I water. Am I watering incorrectly?
