Side Yard Plants Many of my neighbors have mulch beds on the side of their house. Some just have mulch, some have plants, shrubs, and then there’s me, just grass. I have 15 bags of leftover mulch. I want something low maintenance but I also like symmetry. For reference my front yard has arborvitaes, boxwoods, barberry, liropes and a bunch of perennials and annuals.
