Sweet potato too shallow?
First time sweet potato gardener here. These were started from slips on a store-bought potato, so this is low-stakes and very experimental.
I don’t think I planted them deep enough. They’re growing but growing above the soil and the exposed ones (I keep covering them up) are sprouting. I also have a luffa gourd climbing up the same trellis so it’s starting to look a little cramped.
Should I cut my losses and pull the potatoes so the luffa can thrive since I suspect these potatoes are too exposed?
