First harvest of the season My broccoli got away from me. I was not prepared for how quickly they go from nearly ready to flowering. So I was happy to read that the flowers are edible. I ate it and it was still delicious. I roasted it with some spray oil, salt, pepper, and onion powder. I didn't notice any increased bitterness.
