Mystery Melon Identified

I planted an agave and topped off the hole with some compost. A couple weeks later I noticed a melon was growing, and ehhhh... I decided to let it roll. Today I spotted two small watermelons growing. The plant has 8' long vines at this point, but I'm glad to have an identity because it could've been anything for all the melons we eat. What's sorta funny is I've got another watermelon growing just a few feet away that I intentionally planted, and it's struggling to find its feet. All hail the compost volunteers! lol
