Help with Tree layout. I have about the number and layout of trees I’m working on planting in my backyard. I would like to plant a row of 4 bowhall maples along the back of my property with two Princeton sentry ginkos along the edges but a bit closer to my house. I attached a very crude rendering for my plan. The alternative version is very similar but it switches the maples and the ginkos in the east and west sides so you’d have a ginko, two maples and a ginko on the back of the lot and two maples up closer where the ginkos are in the pic. The neighborhood I live in doesn’t have a lot of large trees close by and I’d like to remedy that. I also have 2 story houses in every direction behind me (mine is a small single story) and would like a bit more privacy, even if it takes 20 years to grow it. I’m in it for the long haul. I was hoping to get some advice on this plan and the number of trees. Are there any major flaws with my idea? I’d appreciate any words of wisdom anyone might have to offer.
