What should I do with this flowerbed? Don’t mind the weeds, I’ve been extremely lazy getting this done and working on cleaning it up. This is a flowerbed in front of my house, it’s only supposed to have those 3 short box bushes (which I think are hideous but my landlord says they have to stay), but I’d like to spruce it up some. I, however, have never gardened or planted anything in my life so I have absolutely no idea where to even start. As you can see by the weeds, I’m not the most proactive with my yard so whatever I plant should be low maintenance. I’m in zone 7b and this area gets tons of direct sun all day long. I’m genuinely a complete rookie with anything plant-related, but I consider myself handy and im willing to learn some new skills to make this look nicer. What would you plant here?
