Help, can I grow grass in between the stepping stones? Usually I watch hours of YouTube before starting a project, but I unfortunately didn't do enough research this time. I wanted to put stepping stones in the grass to create a path to my garage. I dug out a trench, laid sand, and put Brock paver panels down. (I realize now this was not a good idea but I can't rewind time.) Is there any way I can put soil in between the stepping stones? I live in an area where it does freeze and snow in the winter. The soil here is full of clay, so I'm thinking of putting top soil in between and lay grass seed. If this is not a good idea, is the only other option to put rocks in between the stepping stones?
