Should I prune the tops or is it too late? I have this early girl plant that is, by many accounts, doing quite well in San Diego. We gets lots of sun, I’ve kept a good strict watering schedule coupled with regular fertilizer. I haven’t really clipped as I should I don’t think and it has got quite leggy. Should I be pruning the top at this stage to promote some bushier branching or is it too late? I’m reticent to as there’s some flowers at the top but can I assume as this is non-determinate and we’ll be having good sun for a long time yet, that clipping the top should get me a better crop in the long run?
