Bird of paradise - HELP Hi everyone, I was gifted a bird of paradise with a single leaf, had a lot of root rot and mealy bugs on it. As I was cleaning it I snapped the stem! I cleaned the roots, trimmed and added root powder on the ends. Everything looks good there… but obviously the main concern is whether or not it’s even going to grow anything anymore. Any chance of it surviving??!? The soil is new, freshly watered and isolated from all my other plants in case it’s still has some mealybugs.
