What gravel to choose? I would like to replace the dirt with gravel to widen the driveway. Most likely I won’t be driving on the gravel, but there might be a chance where I might. Do I take out the dirt as much as the thickness of the concrete? What gravel should I use? I want to make sure it compacts well so that the water runs over the surface and across the driveway rather than the water soaking in the ground.
