FIREPIT! Our landscaper brought this rock over with the idea of putting a natural gas fire pit in it. Upon carving the rock it split in 3 places which required some industrial cement to reconstruct it. I’m worried it’ll split again with weather here in the inland northwest. But now it doesn’t sit evenly and is only an inch or two into the crater and any twitch of wind kills the flame! Any advice on how to make the cutes smoother or how to drill the crater deeper/flater?
