A mini success I am perhaps the farthest thing from a gardener but I love gardens and flowers. I have no natural skill. I’ve been tending to one potted lime tree and it’s still alive, so I dipped one more toe in and bought a couple of things to plant outside. One of which were a few bare roots of butterfly weed. No other reason than I liked the picture and it is supposed to grow well in my zone. I planted 4 bare roots and three have started coming through the soil! Here’s one.
