Planning for next year...

So, I had tried using wood trim (the thin kind) and normal wooden stakes trying to cheap out on growing tomatoes this year, but I didn't get them deep enough in the ground and they started drooping after the heavy rains. I bought these to help sturdy up the situation and they worked well to remedy the situation and stabilize the setup and I can actually get them deep! I'm considering using only these next year, would they work for tomatoes on their own, and should I do one per plant or two per plant? I also plan on using garden wire between them in a modified Florida weave of sorts like I did this year. Other ideas on trellises and stakes and whatnot are appreciated!
