What have I gotten myself into? I brought home my first Pseudolithos yesterday. I'm a bit worried about the media because I can't tell what's going on beneath the calcined clay. My game plan: Repot in unglazed terracotta, 90% pumice/10% Bonsai Jack gritty mix. Only water when I notice wrinkling. Complete dry rest in winter. Right now I have it about 6 feet away from a western-facing window (Western Hemisphere). It's receiving bright but indirect light (I have Begonia dregei & Plectranthus ernstii growing in the same area for reference). Temperatures are upwards of 80 F (26 C) during the day and get down to about 70 F (21 C) at night. I do have a heating pad that I plan on using in winter as well as grow lights.
