Is this river green algae dangerous? It's a river in Cyprus and I was told there is sulfur in the water. Is this some kind of river algae due to the sulfur? I was told the water is clean and nice for swim but there is way too much of this algae so I am not sure what to believe. There is nothing chemical thrown in the specific river etc as far as I know.
