Mimosa / silk tree trapped in undead purgatory?
This mimosa lost leaves as normal in the winter but has no new growth this year, and the lower half seems trapped in some sort of Picture of Dorian Gray type perpetual undead summer where it never lost its leaves in the winter but has no new growth this year either. Would love some advice on how to salvage or help it recover.
Was bought as a massive outdoor potted tree from a garden center 2 summers ago. It spent one year summer-summer on a covered balcony, lost its leaves relatively late (after the first frosts) and only grew new leaves in early summer. It spent the last year indoors in a sunroom (heated, but poorly insulated) which experiences summer temps between 18-32 C and winter temps between 12-24 C. Medium humidity in summer and low humidity in winter. It flowered last last summer.
Watering: 1-2x/week. Soil kept consistently lightly damp at an inch or so below the surface but not oversaturated, no visible evidence of mold, bottom of pot is well drained. May have been overwatered a few times.
Light: Plenty of natural light.
No visible pests.
Ignore the lemon and olive photobombers.
Appreciate any help! Thanks!
