Need help choosing the right grow lights for a bigger table
Hey all,
TL;DR; - AI image for reference, what grow lights would I need for a 60x30 inch (150x75 cm) table setup with different sized succulents spread over it?
After potting all the smaller jades from the 30 years old plant in my last post, I'm now looking for a good place for them. We live in an attic flat without any good windows for plants. I have a few gollum jades outside but the space under the canopy is very limited. So my idea was to build a decorative table for the plants where I can keep them year round.
The image is AI generated to roughly illustrate the idea (helps myself imagine what I want to build). The rock split would be just for decoration. The plan for the table is to use a roughly 60x30 inch (150x75 cm) plate. That should give enough space to spread the plants out a bit (don't want it to look crammed).
Now obviously this table would need some grow lights for the plants. This is where I'd need some help choosing the right lights for the task. I can get some SANSI full spectrum LEDs and gooseneck stands/clips. How many lights and what wattage would I need for the task? And how far away would I place the lamps from the plants? Would 2 20W LEDs centered left and right suffice? Or would multiple smaller lights work better? I've never used grow lights, so hard to tell for me.
Just for reference, the plants are roughly 6-14 inches high (15-35cm) including the pot. 28 inches (70cm) if I want to put the old jade on there.
Thanks in advance!
