Growing indeterminate tomatoes and cucumbers opposite on same trellis

Cucumbers are quickly making their way up the trellis as intended (right side).

Indeterminate tomatoes have outgrown the string wire trellis in the center of the left planter (red arrow). I had made a big chop and forgot about them 2 weeks ago. Now, it has doubled in size vertically and looks eager to grow.

Considering leaning the tomatoes over into the wire trellis and having them grow up and over - will this be a fatal mistake? Am I going to over crowd my cukes and be left with a huge tangled viney mess? Will the dumb aphids and ants taking vacancy in my cucumber flowers destroy my tomatoes? My first garden and it’s all about learning this year, would love to hear advice from you experts in the field.
