Recommendations for awkward backyard hill
In the midst of planning how I want to tackle this project, essential broken into 2 parts: the top and the hillside.
Currently, the top has flat stones that the previous owner put in straight into the dirt, so there’s weeds and grass growing in between. What would you recommend I put in between these gaps when I lay the stones back down? I plan on getting them out, re-leveling the dirt and put a barrier down. Like pea gravel or something else?
Secondly, the hillside is a pain to mow since I used a rider. I’m looking for creative ideas of what to do decorative wise. Thought of doing similar to the top, I took out big rocks the previous owner had, going to refill the holes with dirt and smooth it out and maybe put some decorative stone covering the hillside, but not sure how that would fair with them rolling down via gravity. Any solutions?
Super new to landscaping. Thanks in advance
