Pea plant dying on the bottom but looks great at the top??? Heyo! First time outdoor gardener here. I’ve got this pea plant that I sowed a couple months back and it’s been flourishing ! However in the last couple of weeks I’ve noticed that the leaves at the bottom of the plant have turned brown. The top of the plant still looks great and is now flowering. Upon researching the main issues that I could be facing is 1. Overwatering 2. Not enough nitrogen in the soil At this time my soil felt dry, so I’ve started bottom watering and the plant soaks it up like crazy! I’ve also added some more compost at the base of the plant and some 5-7-7 fertilizer. She’s still struggling. Any tips??? Thank you! Ps: we’ve had a very very sunny week, outdoor plant, 10 hrs light.
