How best to fill this eroding gap under my fence? Recent weeks of heavy rains have caused dirt to erode under my fairly new fence. Slopes downhill slightly, shade from large tree has prevented much grass (bermuda) coverage. Do we just fill this with soil and tamp it down, put a plastic liner etc under it first, lay sod on top of the fill to slow future erosion? Thanks in advance for any advice!
