Should I cut off the top of my plant or try to lower the string? Can anyone recommend what they would do in this situation? Should I try to lower the string from the trellis or just cut the top of the plant? For reference the trellis is 8 feet tall from the bottom of the container, so the plant is about 6 feet tall. Also, the containers are lined on a bench, about another 2 feet high. I currently need a ladder to reach the tops of the plants, I did not expect it to get this tall.
